Exhibition Park was hopping today! Music, food, arts, crafts and more! Thanks so much to the Neighbourhood Group & all the volunteers for bringing this event together. Like all groups it’s part of the @GuelphNSC.
I brought my daughter Adelaide along and she was having so much fun! Look at that swing! The rain had stopped and there were a lot of people there. I’m thinking this type of community event should happen more often!
This was their first annual Creativity Picnic in Exhibition Park. Here’s a write up on the day:
“There will be music, magic and a wee bit of mayhem. It is our first such picnic and we have much to celebrate. We have local and lovely talent such as: The Funky Mama Trio, The Children’s Art Factory, Five the Magician , Olivia and the Creepy Crawlies, and the Art Gallery of Guelph‘s ‘Inflatable Art Gallery’. Plus we will have activities from the Guelph Civic Museum, face painting, henna, Cardboard-ia, Kids Make Guelph, fortune telling, a story tent (with special guest storytellers), a book swap and so much more!” If this happens again next year, I’d highly recommend all of Guelph come and see the great things going on here!
