@CatalystAware Steps Up For Local Organizations in & Around #Guelph #CreateAThonWW

I was invited this morning to a great company in our city that was taking the next 24hrs dedicated to helping others!

Their facility is gorgeous and you can really tell that those “in-charge” take the wellness of their employees seriously.

They then encourage their employees and partner with others to give back to those in need within our community and surrounding area.

Here’s the press release:

ONE DAY.

24 HOURS.

ONE BIG DIFFERENCE

On Thursday October 22nd, Catalyst along with Capacity Canada and Conestoga College’s third year graphic design students are coming together to bring CreateAthon to Waterloo-Wellington. The students will join Catalyst’s team at their Guelph office in a 24 hour creative marathon to offer pro bono marketing and design materials to 12 local non-profits and charities.
“CreateAthon provides me with the opportunity to give back to my community while utilizing my decades of experience in the design and communications industry.”
– Terry McGuire
CreateAthon was founded 17 years ago in Columbia, South Carolina after a select few in an ad business were pulling a late-night session. Their goal was simple – make a difference on a local level, while continuing to grow the creative skill-based, pro bono movement. The efforts made have impacted more than 1,600 organizations across the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada delivering more than 3,500 projects valued at more than $20.5 million.
Catalyst Awareness is a communications agency located in Guelph, Ontario that specializes in creating custom Loss Prevention and Health & Safety programs for some of North America’s largest and most recognized retailers. Catalyst currently operates as a division of Alchemy Systems.
