I was pleased to fly the Crime Stoppers flag in January – national Crime Stoppers month a few days ago!

I’d like to thank Crime Stoppers for their partnership with Guelph Police and their important public service in our community.

  
They have an Impressive record of success:

Between 1988 and December 2015, calls to Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington resulted in:

▪ 1,505 arrests

▪ 2,224 cases cleared

▪ More than $37 million in recovered illegal drugs and stolen personal property

So Crime Stoppers works folks! Use it! Program coordinator Sarah Bowers-Peter has been fantastic to get to to know over this past year. A quick video below of her before the flag raising!

 

 
Guelph is one of the safest cities in Canada. The work of Crime Stoppers is one reason why. They should be very proud of the work they do for our city!
