Bring joy to your February. Celebrate the contributions of black Canadians who have helped to make Canada what it is today. Feel the warmth of Heritage Hall (HH) with friends by joining in festivities this Black History Month.
Throughout February events will be hosted by the Guelph Black Heritage Society:

Kick off with the Band ‘Built‐for‐Bob’ ‐ a Marley tribute ‐ February 6, 2016.
Hosted by CFRU’s Nicky Dread the evening will start with a traditional welcome and territorial acknowledgement by Jan Sherman and feature cultural foods, DJ, as well as performances by spoken word artist Truth Is and the band Built for Bob. All ages, licensed event. Doors open at 7:00 pm, admission $8 – Heritage Hall, 83 Essex Street

Enjoy Live Jazz Music and a Screening of the National Film Board’s “In the Key of Oscar” – February 13, 2016

Live the Dream at the 3rd Annual ‘Music, Love and Family’ ‐ February 20, 2016

Connect at the Guelph Civic Museum Music Night ‐ February 26, 2016
