Today I travelled to Kitchener where the Province was holding pre-budget consultations (gathering feedback) before the budget is finalized. 

Many members of the public and business industry were in attendance.

It was incredible to see Guelph represented so well with our Chamber of Commerce president Kithio, and Daniel from the University of Guelph standing up for our city!   

Each person only had three minutes, so I stated clearly our needs around:

1. All day two way GO service.

2. Infrastructure funding

3. Fix the arbitration system around emergency services agreements.

  
My message was well received and I thank the Province for setting these public engagement opportunities up pre-budget.

Now let’s hope they listened!
