City seeks input on Wilson Street parkade and street reconstruction
Guelph, ON, April 18, 2016 – Community members are invited to participate in a series of City-hosted public meetings for the Wilson Street reconstruction and parkade.
“We want to introduce the project and get feedback from downtown residents, businesses and users about the Wilson Street reconstruction and parkade, as well as the replacement of the Norfolk Street pedestrian bridge,” says Ian Panabaker, corporate manager of Downtown Renewal.
Participants will have an opportunity to provide feedback on the project’s features and design, including on-street parking, sidewalk width, overall appearance of the parkade, parkade entrance/exit location, and pedestrian and cycling connections.
This is the first of a series of public meetings for the project.
