“Living Small” Film Screening and Fundraiser

[Guelph, ON] – Yorklands Green Hub (YGH) will present “Living Small’ Film Screening and Fundraiser at The Bookshelf Cinemas and Miijidaa Café and Restaurant on May 30th, 2016 from 7 – 10 pm.

YGH is excited to screen the tiny house documentary “Living Small” at The Bookshelf Cinemas (41 Quebec Street) and informational keynote speeches. Afterwards, there will be a Meet & Greet at Miijidaa Café and Bistro with YGH Supporters and those involved in the tiny house movement. Kat Walters and Matthew Davey will give talks about the process of building a tiny home and describe what it’s like to live in such a cozy dwelling. If you’ve ever been curious about tiny houses, downsizing or sustainable living, this event will provide you with practical tools and inspiration to follow your vision. The film screening and talks will begin at 7pm. The Meet & Greet will begin at 9 pm.

Tickets and Pricing:

Movie and Meet & Greet: For $20 watch the documentary, listen to our keynote speakers and have a chance to mingle with others interested in tiny houses.

Dinner, Movie and Meet & Greet: For $80, enjoy dinner at Miijidaa Restaurant before the documentary and Meet & Greet.

Proceeds from this event will go towards the construction of Yorklands Green Hub’s Tiny House and sustainability education project: The Mobile Learning Lab.
