Is There A Park Coming at Westra & Curzon in the West End of #Guelph?

The  city has already started the planning process in preparation for going out to the community this fall to master plan Ellis Creek Park.

More information here: http://guelph.ca/plans-and-strategies/parks-trails-planning/ellis-creek-park/
This is a park that the Park Planning group is really excited to get started on as we know how important it is for the community to get this park
We think by completing the work in house we can have more control of the process to get the park ready for construction in spring of 2017 (with Council budget approval).

Thanks!

Cam

I think this is great news! This subdivision is quickly growing, with more and more kids running around the neighborhood. We’ve been here for the last 4 years and have been fortunate to have had at least an empty field to have the kids play on but I’m sure they would be more than excited to actually have a playground set to play on. If there is room in the park maybe a half court basketball could be implemented in the plans. Thanks for the update and the kids are impatiently waiting for the results.
