DESCRIPTION:

What happens when you embed start-ups within City Hall and pair them up with an expert project team, and give them the mandate and space to innovate on complex challenges?

The Civic Accelerator’s first Demo Day has the answers.

Featuring:

  • Alert Labs on how their sensors can deliver real time water usage data to homes.
  • Milieu Technologies on how their platform energizes engagement in planning decisions and generates great data-based insights for city planners
  • Béatrice Couture, Director of Innocité MTL, Canada’s largest smart city accelerator
  • The City of Guelph team that designed and ran the Civic Accelerator, sharing their insights and tips for other cities looking to take the innovation plunge.
