Yesterday , October 28th from 12-3pm, our Downtown Trick-or-Treating Event was back for its 2nd year and WAY BIGGER! There was over twice the number of participating stores, and City Hall got into the spooky spirit! We even had a small haunted house area that was certainly scary!
It started at the Guelph Public Library on Norfolk to hear a spooky story, and then you picked up a map of the participating stores.
Everyone then visited whichever stores they liked to receive candy (and maybe some other treats), and get the map stamped.
There was well over 300 kids who came out – it was a blast! Here’s a video of just some of the kids that came through! Click HERE!
Thanks to all the sponsors and volunteers! Special shout out to The Dragon Comic Book and Games store who came up with this idea and to the support of the Downtown Business Association!
Take care,
Cam
