Happy Volunteer Week!

On behalf of the City of Guelph, it’s my privilege to extend a huge “thank you” to all volunteers in our city.

The economic value of volunteers to our city amounts to hundreds of thousands of dollars. But your value is actually priceless. When you volunteer your time and talents, you are showing that you care about this community and the people who live in it. You are helping us build a more welcoming, more connected, and kinder city. It is truly impossible to put a price on that.

Volunteer opportunities changed, and in many cases stopped during the pandemic. As we reopen and recover, we are thrilled to be able to say “welcome back” to many volunteers.
