What a great way to start the day! Guelph welcomed Ton Akkerman, from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, to our great city along with our co-hosts President Dr. Franco J Vaccarino from the University of Guelph and Mayor of Minto, Warden of Wellington County, George Bridge.

A very warm and welcoming group of over 30 businesses from the Netherlands are here on an economic trade mission focusing today on Agri-food and food sciences.

A beautiful gift to me from the delegation was this:  

They will be throughout Guelph and the County today. We are very fortunate to have them here and is like to thank staff in our economic development department for their work on this!
