• Sidewalk Maintenance – $434,500 will be primarily for sidewalk maintenance with a priority on treating sidewalks that are not in compliance with the minimum maintenance standards laid out by the province.
• Some of this funding will also assist in repairing both concrete stairs and retaining walls.
• The funding is broken into 3 main categories: a) $212,300 for additional staff members, b) $20,000 for materials (i.e. concrete, forms), and c) $125,000 for contracted services.
