The status of the York Road project is as follows:

– Overall the project is on schedule.

– York Road between Wyndham Street and Neeve Street – watermain installation is ongoing.

– York Road between Neeve Street and Ontario Street (the project limit) – open excavation construction activities are underway for installation of all new services 

– To improve resident access to homes in the area and facilitate traffic, 1 Westbound lane of York Road will be opened at the end of September (between Wyndham and Ontario – the entire length of the project work). Note: this will be 1 Westbound lane only, intended for small vehicle traffic (but no trucks).

– Total project completion is on schedule for late December this year weather permitting
